Activity #17 Collage of Books Read In 2010

Okay everyone, let's see who managed to complete this task. Just in case you missed the post from Tuesday giving you advance notice, here is what you need to do today.

Create a collage using all the book covers from the books you read in 2010.  I know, I know!!!! I'm crazy!!!  You can do this any way you want.  You can print out the book covers and cut and paste them on a poster board and take a picture of it.  Or, you can do it all on the computer. OR, if you have all the books in your home you can just lay them out on the floor in a collage and take a picture of that.  Whatever works for you.  Get crackin' and get creative!

Here is my collage:

  1. I thought this was a wonderful idea, but even with the advance notice I was not able to find 291 book covers. But I wanted to do something, so I decided to play with Wordle. It's one of the 21st tech tools we are supposed to be familiar with. So I took the titles from each month of 2010 and made collages. I'm not sure you can see them very well on my blog, but it was fun. This entire challenge has been fun. I missed the deadline on a couple, but I'm going to go back and do them anyway, just to finish out 2010. Thank you so much for hosting this challenge.

  3. Thanks you guys. I think Wordle is a wonderful alternative. I think I'm going to o back and do mine from 2008 and 2009 so I can have collages for each year.

To help with keeping track just keep a Goodreads shelf for each year. I just went down the list and saved all my covers from there.
